David Hensley

Founder and Managing Partner, advises organisations all over the world on their business strategy and organisational design, their brands and marketing strategies. He previously held senior roles at McKinsey & Company, McCann/FutureBrand, and Oliver Wyman/ Lippincott. He has worked with global brands such as BMW, BP and BT and with brands that are highly successful in their own markets such as MTN in South Africa, DBS in Singapore, EMT in Estonia, Giti Tire in China and Mobily in Saudi Arabia.

Colin Hensley

Colin is a communication practitioner who has used his skills across Europe, America and Asia to manage crisis, risk, change as well as day-to-day communication in public and private institutions. His work has ranged from a global reputation crisis in the automotive industry to the largest ever acquisition in transportation sector.  Based in Brussels, Colin speaks Dutch, French and Japanese as well as his native English.

 

Sam McCollum

Sam has over 10 years of brand consulting experience working with leading international consultancies including Accenture, FutureBrand and Lippincott. Sam and David have worked together on many branding projects over the last 10 years, including work for ABPI, Barclays and CNBC in the UK, Elsevier in the Netherlands and Giti Tire in China. Sam has a degree in PPE from Oxford University.

Dr Ian Dodds

Ian is an internationally renowned consultant in organisational transformation and people development. He has specialist expertise in leadership development, working with management teams, equality, diversity and inclusion, behavioural change and engagement. Before becoming a consultant, Ian was Group Head of Organisation and People Development for ICI, then the largest chemicals company in the world, and a member of its Fine Chemicals Manufacturing Board.

Paul Kane

Paul is an HR professional with extensive experience in the upstream and downstream oil business, used to “best practice” HR strategies, tools and techniques, having spent 35 years working around the world in the HR function for Shell, where he was HR Manager – Africa, and global Vice-President HR Capability. Paul has a strong record of managing change in complex organisations.

Ian Whalley

Graphic designer and brand identity specialist.  Ian has worked with David for over 12 years on projects in the UK, Europe and Asia. He previously worked for some of the world’s leading design agencies, including FutureBrand, Fitch and Coley Porter Bell. His clients have included Thomas Cook, Morgan Stanley, Invesco, DBS, Diil, EMT, Mercedes Benz and Tesco.

Jay Tunbridge

Jay is an award winning designer who over the past 16 years has led global  brand and digital design projects for major corporations, national institutions  and start-ups. He is the founder of design and digital agency motel. Jay has worked on a range of international clients with David, including the ABPI, Isobar, tadaweb in Luxembourg and EMT and Elion in Estonia.

Pia McKerron

An interior architect who has designed offices for McKinsey & Company, PWC, Canada Life and other clients across Europe and Africa. Pia does strategic workplace analysis and design for clients such as the BBC, the British Museum and the Countryside Agency which has won awards.

 

Charlotte Hensley

Founding partner of Hensley Partners. Charlotte studied design at Kingston University and and interior architecture at Brussels University. She has worked as a manager for Majestic Wine, and has the Wine Diploma. She is also the founder of Hensley Home Finders. Her aesthetic judgement informs much of our work.
 

 

Guil Mesquita

An environmental designer who has worked with David producing award-winning retail design for clients such as Qtel, the Qatari telecoms provider, and Mobily, the Saudi mobile operator. As well as retail environments, Guil has also designed exhibition stands, furniture, theatre sets and architecture.

L&Co is a London based design and communications agency, founded by Paul Barlow in 2003 . David and Paul have worked together since they were both at FutureBrand in 2000.
