Founder and Managing Partner, advises organisations all over the world on their brands and marketing strategies. He previously held senior roles at FutureBrand, Lippincott and McKinsey. He has worked with global brands such as BMW, BP and BT and with brands that are highly successful in their own markets such as MTN in South Africa, DBS in Singapore, EMT in Estonia, Giti Tire in China and Mobily in Saudi Arabia.
Colin is a communication practitioner who has used his skills across Europe, America and Asia to manage crisis, risk, change as well as day-to-day communication in public and private institutions. His work has ranged from a global reputation crisis in the automotive industry to the largest ever acquisition in transportation sector. Based in Brussels Colin speaks Dutch, French and Japanese as well as his native English.
Sam has over 10 years of brand consulting experience working with leading international consultancies including Accenture, FutureBrand and Lippincott. Sam and David have worked together on many branding projects over the last 10 years, including work for ABPI, Barclays and CNBC in the UK, Elsevier in the Netherlands and Giti Tire in China. Sam has a degree in PPE from Oxford University.
Claire's experience includes consulting, management and leadership roles with SMEs, innovators, and market leaders in the retail, hospitality, leisure and not-for-profit sectors. Claire has held Brand Management roles at Gumtree, InterContinental Hotels and eBay and worked as a consultant for Oliver Wyman/Lippincott where her clients included Sainsbury's, Boots, Habitat and McDonalds. Claire has a first class masters degree in Physics from Cambridge.

Charlie is a Business Analyst who woks on research and analysis. Charlie has a degree in Chemical Engineering and a Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance & Strategic Investments, both from Newcastle University.

We have partnered with Paul and L&Co on several projects over the past few years, combining our strengths in delivering branding strategies and their talents in bringing them to life through brand creation and visual design, including the creation of the award-winning Diil brand.
Graphic designer and brand identity specialist. Ian has worked with David for over 12 years on projects in the UK, Europe and Asia. He previously worked for some of the world’s leading design agencies, including FutureBrand, Fitch and Coley Porter Bell. His clients have included Thomas Cook, Morgan Stanley, Invesco, DBS, Diil, EMT, Mercedes Benz and Tesco.
An interior architect who has designed offices for McKinsey & Company, PWC, Canada Life and other clients across Europe and Africa. Pia does strategic workplace analysis and design for clients such as the BBC, the British Museum and the Countryside Agency which has won awards.
Founding partner of Hensley Partners. Charlotte studied design at Kingston University and and interior architecture at Brussels University. She has worked as a manager for Majestic Wine, and has the Wine Diploma. Her aesthetic judgement informs much of our work.
An environmental designer who has worked with David producing award-winning retail design for clients such as Qtel, the Qatari telecoms provider, and Mobily, the Saudi mobile operator. As well as retail environments, Guil has also designed exhibition stands, furniture, theatre sets and architecture.
L&Co is a London based design and communications agency, founded by Paul Barlow in 2003 . David and Paul have worked together since they were both at FutureBrand in 2000. HensleyPartners and L&Co have collaborated on many projects, including telecoms and technology clients such as du, EMT, Elion, ResponseTap the creation of the award-winning Diil brand; pharmaceutical and healthcare clients such as CASMI, the Health Innovation Network and the ABPI; and B2B clients such as Jones Lang LaSalle and Reed Learning.
The world’s leading independent brand valuation consultancy, founded by David Haigh in 1996. David was one of the authors of the ISO standard for brand valuation. Brand Finance perform brand valuations for strategic decision making, financial reporting, tax planning, M&A activities, joint ventures, IPOs and other transactions, working closely with auditors, tax authorities and lawyers. HensleyPartners and Brand Finance have collaborated on work for clients such as Aeroflot, HSBC, ResponseTap and TeliaSonera.
